the part at 9:07 confused me. i had a chain of 141 to begin with and when i finished my second round of single crochets i had ended up with 136 stitches by this end of the row. i am not sure if i’m meant to have an uneven number or an even number here, and why my stitch count has decreased. could you help ?😂

Just a word of warning for anyone following this tutorial... This comes out waaaaaay too big and does not grab onto the head at all, just sits there and you'd have to clip it on for it to stay in your hair and I followed the CHILD instructions with the intention of it being an adult size medium..turned out like an adult XXXL. I will say the tutorial is nice for beginners learning how to do basic stitching.

The pattern doesn't work on a normal size coffee cup. I even increased the cast on Stitches to 45. It's stretching way too much. The pattern won't fit. I tried muilple cups and it won't fit.

What a wonderful easy pattern. I wrote down the pattern in my journal.

If u have a wider cup how many stitches cast on do u recommend? 45? 39 is pulling on material to go over handle? Even standard size cup

Turning every row and hdc to join instead of slip stitch helps to keep its shape. No blocking needed. Just a suggestion. When I blocked squares, they went back wonky after washing.

Hi , am trying beanie for Adult large tat is 23 inches head circumference. But now in 15 inches i have got 58 rows so nw i need to work for 23 inches rit? so tat how many chains i should have after joining the head circumference...like u have 58 for me how many should i get ??? Similarly i should maintain even num chains or odd num chains or any num divisible?
